What started out as the rainiest day of the year, turned into a fun gathering of folks itching to learn more about physical security products and services. Everything from the latest and greatest in security technology, to how Gray & Creech’s security assessment builds successful security solutions, to the importance of an experienced and licensed security installation team.
Our Security Showcase created an energetic environment for our guests and panel of security professionals. The relationships that were created and the relationships that were strengthened have solidified Gray & Creech’s commitment to provide educational events.
A Packed Room Ready to Learn
Attendance exceeded expectations, filling the second floor of Drive Shack with local businesses and organizations dedicated to providing the top security operation for their co-workers and partners. The energy was unmistakable — a mix of curiosity, urgency, and shared purposes.
“Seeing a full room of organizations ready to take security seriously is exactly why we host this event,” noted Lee Hortman, Gray & Creech Vice President of Security.
Our lineup of industry experts from Gray & Creech and Verkada delivered high‑value sessions that resonated with attendees:
- Security Assessments, Grants & Project Timelines with John Lohr
- A Live Verkada Platform Demonstration with Casey Moore
- Why Certified, Licensed Installation Teams Matter and Successful Installations with Joseph and Joe Bailey

“This is the kind of transparency and expertise organizations need when planning their security roadmap,” an attendee shared after the final session.
Building Momentum for What Comes Next
“The success of this year’s Showcase has only amplified our commitment to hosting more events that educate, empower, and connect our community,” shared Alec Bean, Gray & Creech President.
With such a strong turnout and overwhelmingly positive feedback, we’re already planning what’s next.
